INFLUENCERS - YOUNG ADULTS
God is writing beautiful stories among the young adults of Gracehill—stories of transformed, purposeful lives lived for the glory of God and in the joy of his presence.
The young adult team is referred to as ‘Influencers’—a term that is descriptive of a people who are being shaped holistically to impact the church, the family and the market place.
The Influencers Team takes care of those who are in their college years and early post-college years before they settle in families. This ministry seeks to be relevant and practical in meeting the needs of its members. The key pillars of the ministry include:
Spiritual development: Our goal is to help every Influencer develop a passion and practice of spiritual disciplines and to build every aspect of their lives on the principles of God’s word. Our goal is to build a family of young professionals who are passionate about Christ and his cause above all else.
Graceful Relationships: We are a family where members find authentic relationships and friendships that help add value and shape one another towards purposeful, joyful and fruitful living. Great emphasis is placed on equipping every ‘Influencer’ to make well informed and biblically sound decisions on the pathway to marriage and family.
Grace-filled Service: We believe every ‘Influencer’ is gifted to serve the Kingdom of God. We equip, encourage and facilitate our members to be fully involved in service, both within the church and within the community, as well as through other platforms that are available for serve. We believe the ‘Influencer’ must be part of writing God’s beautiful stories every single day of our lives!
Career and life enrichment: We are keen on helping young people who are transiting from college to make the right and informed career choices through our Program for Accountability, Character & Career Enrichment (PACE) mentorship forum. Career enrichment is a continuing engagement for us as we sharpen each other through our experiences and through the mentorship of those who have gone ahead of us.
MEN FOLLOWING CHRIST - MEN'S MINISTRY
This is the men’s ministry of Gracehill. It is committed to mentor and disciple every man in Gracehill. The motto of the ministry is ‘leaving no man behind’. Among the mentorship and discipleship programs of the ministry are ManCave and KIKAO. ManCave is designed for the mentorship of young men by the older ones while KIKAO is a broad-based, interactive mentorship and training program designed to build men who live holistic and balanced lives, to the glory of God.
LADIES OF SUBSTANCE - LADIES MINISTRY
This is the women’s ministry of Gracehill. Its goal is to offer mentorship and discipleship of women in the church through its various programs. The ladies of substance hold regular conferences, mentorship forums and a monthly prayer program. To ensure ministry happens to every lady, the ladies are divided into zones. The ladies have been at the forefront in many of our development and discipleship programs.
TREASURED FAMILIES - FAMILY MINISTRY
Some of our most beautiful stories at Gracehill are being weaved daily in our homes as God establishes families that well-founded in his word and who are enjoying his grace as they build their families. At Gracehill, we believe in the primacy of the family as God’s building block for both the church and the community. We are also aware that Satan’s most potent tool against the church and the community is to weaken and confuse the family unit. We therefore as the empowerment and building of families as a God-given mandate to counter the Satanic scheme to undermine the work that God is doing.
Gracehill Treasured Families Ministry seeks to touch all our diverse families in the church. Our goal is to build families where Christ is Lord, love is growing, joy is authentic, and destinies are shaped.
The key pillars of the Ministry include:
Grace-filled relationships between spouses: Through training and other forums, we encourage and equip couples to cultivate their love and to build a strong, Christ-centered relationship with one another. We seek to provide the resources, information and forums that will encourage this.
Grace-filled Parenting: It is a biblical requirement to bring up children in the way of the Lord. Parenting has many challenges and requires constant support to build a strong foundation for our kids and to keep up as they transit through different ages and seasons. The Treasured Family Ministry walks alongside the parents in the church to offer training and to provide a support system through where parents can co-mentor one another.
Accountability—Marriage Accountability Platform (MAP): We believe that one of the best ways to grow as families is through a system of mutual accountability among couples who are going through the same phases of life. For every group of young couples who go through our pre-marital class together, we constitute them into a Marriage Accountability Platform (MAP) that serves as an accountability and growth forum. Many families testify that these groups have really become a life-line for their families—a place of growth, joy and support. These groups are our primary vehicle for ‘family care’. We encourage every family in the church to belong to a Marriage Accountability Platform.
Support and Counselling: The Treasured Families Ministry is always available to pray, counsel and walk with families that need us at any time.
We also have a comprehensive pre-marital counseling program for couples who are preparing for marriage. The counseling program runs for eight weeks and has many inbuilt practical experiences to help couples enter into marriage properly equipped.
