The pastoral team, the elders, deacons, Jirani Team (small group) leaders, and all ministry leaders of Gracehill are dedicated to the care of our members. As under-shepherds of Christ, we follow his example, to guide, comfort, feed and walk with his sheep through the changing seasons of life. Our pastoral care includes:

Prayer: Praying for all our members constantly and generally.  Specifically, we avail ourselves to pray with those in need

Visitation: We commit ourselves to reach out and walk with those who are going through challenging times.  We believe that presence is a great ministry in times of need.  We take special care of grieving and trouble families and individual members.

Baptism: We believe that baptism is an act of obedience that every follower of Christ ought to undergo.  We conduct baptism classes and baptism on a regular basis.

Communion: Communion is also referred to as the ‘Lord’s supper’ and is a practice that Jesus instituted on the night he was betrayed.  It is a reminder of the death of Jesus on the cross. We celebrate communion every first Sunday of the month. 

Child dedication: We believe every child ought to be committed and dedicated to God. We commit babies/young children to God in our services as the parents present them to God in faith. 

Weddings/Marriage enrichment: We prepare couples for marriage through a comprehensive pre-marital counseling program and take the celebration of weddings as a time of worship and family celebrations.  We are committed to building strong, healthy marriages in Gracehill and in the community.
